Top 5 Face Cleansers for 45+ Skin
I’ve interviewed many a dermatologist over the years and surprisingly they all agreed on one thing - DO NOT overspend on a face cleanser.
More often than not, they recommended the reliable Cetaphil - coupled with a face cloth - for a results-driven clean. I wholeheartedly agree, and it’s on my favourites list, as well as these beauties:
Ipsum Best Skin Cleansing Oil Balm, $32, www.ipsumskin.com Loved for its uplifting Lemon Myrtle scent and certified organic, pore-tightening and all-natural hydrating ingredients. A luxe fave.
Cetaphil Face Daily Exfoliating Cleanser, $15.99, www.priceline.com.au Loved for its 2-in-1 skin-glowing capability.
Natio Ageless Gentle Daily Face Cleanser, $17.95, www.natio.com.au Loved for its double dose of skin-softening shea butter and rosehip oil.
Essano Rosehip Moisturising Crème Cleanser, $14.99, www.priceline.com.au Loved, particularly in winter, for the inclusion of skin barrier-protective beeswax.
The Ordinary Squalene Cleanser, $ 13.90, www.priceline.com.au Loved for its super-hydrating, 5-star hero ingredient (and my favourite) squalene.
NOTE: I’m not paid to endorse any of these products. I only recommend what I know really works.
