This $14 eyeliner performs way better than my beloved $62 eyeliner (insert gasp)

I love it when a purse-friendly staple is the same -  if not better - than a luxe version as it means I can redirect saved funds to another item of interest, right? 

My new favourite is from a new-ish brand you might not have on your radar yet but you should after you read this. MCoBeauty is the little sister of Sydney-born ModelCo, and is conveniently stocked in Woolworths.  

Many 45+ women I advise on beauty tours are wary of brands that seem so reasonably priced and often marketed to a twentysomething crowd. From my experience these brands are still worth exploring as I’ve found a few really wonderful surprises, which can work so well on our 45+ skin. 

MCoBeauty’s liquid eyeliner is one of these great finds. It gives a flawless hold with no smudging - even on my watery eyes. It has an ultra-thin tip too, which is what you need to get a perfect line right at the lash base to make your eyelashes appear a little thicker. I like to flick it out and up at the end - French girl style - to lift my eyes.
