the one product i use every day without fail

I share the same “less is more” skincare philosophy with creator and founder of Lanolips, Kirsten Carriol, a Sydney mum of two boys, who grew up visiting her grandparent’s sheep farm in South Australia. Many years later, while unable to find a results-driven lip balm, she decided to create her own, based on a lanolin-filled childhood.

When I really thought about it, there’s not a day that goes past without using one of her - now wide range - of lips, hands and multi-functional, all-natural and animal cruetly-free products (and both my daughters, 13 and 19, were raised on them, too).

Multi-purpose and deeply moisturising, as well as great value for money, these products go the distance and are a worthy addition to your simple yet effective, better-skin tomorrow beauty kit.

My top 3 favourites:

  1. Lanolips 101 Ointment, $18.95, the original multipurpose superbalm. It’s been a staple in my handbag since its launch in 2009.

2. Lanolin Lano Allover, $18.95, a rich everywhere multi-cream. I use this as a night cream three times a week. I find the scent deeply relaxing.

3. Lanolips Rose Gold 101 Ointment, $19, deep, soothing hydration with the most perfect, lip beautifying tint.

NOTE: “I’m not paid to endorse these products (or treatments), I only recommend what I believe in and know works. If any of my content is in partnership with a beauty client I’ll tell you - full transparency is important to me. And I will only work with sponsors to promote products that I have personally tried and loved. If I don’t love it and believe it works for women 45+  I just won’t recommend it.”
