5 WAYS TO WAKE UP WITH YOUR MAKEUP
Follow these shortcuts to a perfect glow - even in the morning rush.
STEP 1: Apply an eye cream, one that lightens and brightens and gives great hydration.
I love: Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Crème, $57, https://www.sephora.com.au Then apply Innoxa’s Colour Correcting Concealer in Peach, $19.95, https://innoxa.com.au which will blur out any dark circles.
STEP 2: Next, you need a base that covers like a foundation but is light and dewy for tired skin.
I love: Bourjois Healthy Mix BB Cream Anti-Fatigue, $25, https://www.bourjois.com/au
STEP 3: Blush will make you look healthier. The right shade puts back colour in cheeks that skin loses over time.
I love: Natio Warm Radiance Mineral Blusher and Bronzer Palette, $21.95, https://www.natio.com.au
STEP 4: Illuminiser is a make-up artist’s secret weapon so don’t be afraid of it. ‘I would always recommend a cream formula on older skin as you want a luminous glow not a glittering shine,’ says make-up artist Amanda Zacharewicz. ‘The trick to a highlighter is to use your fingers and press it softly on the high points of the cheek bone. You can also use it on the lid and inner corner of the eye to brighten and lift tired eyes.’
STEP 5: A quick swipe of pretty-in pink lipstick will not only make you look more beautiful but will deflect from tired eyes.
NOTE: I’m not paid to endorse any of these products. I only recommend what I know really works.
